Build a record of extra arguments for metafor::rma(), the random-effects meta-analysis engine behind metaSldscRandom, metaAnalysisPerCondition and calculateFeatureScores.

Usage

RmaOptions(...)

Arguments

...

Arguments for metafor::rma(): test (the null-distribution choice – "knha" is the small-\(k\) correction, and these meta-analyses often run on few studies), level, weighted, tau2 and control. rma()'s signature ends in ..., so names cannot be checked here and a misspelling is passed through. yi and sei are the estimate/standard-error pair pecotmr assembles and are refused, as is method: that is the caller's metaMethod.

These settings apply to the first fit. pecotmr falls back to the closed-form DerSimonian-Laird estimator when an iterative one fails, and the fallback carries them too.

Value

A MethodOptions record for the metaArgs argument.

Examples

RmaOptions(test = "knha")
#> <MethodOptions: rma>
#>   forwarded to metafor::rma()
#> argument names NOT checked: metafor::rma() takes `...`, so any name is accepted
#>   test                   knha
